The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Target (Baltimore, MD) in Dec 2018
Interview
-Went through 1 phone interview and two face to face. One with a recruiter, then store team leader, then the DTL and a HR rep.
-entire interview process for each interview the employee read off an interview guide
- Company is going through changes. They are being overly picky about talent and if they do end up offering you a job expect to be low-balled.
- Received an offer at 20k less then what I was already making so I declined
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Tell us about a time you implemented something in your store that was not company policy? Did it work?
I applied in-person. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Target (Dallas, TX) in Dec 2018
Interview
I sat waiting for hours. I met with the HR ETL, a department ETL and also the STL. I felt that the interview process was average, if not a little lacking, but it was relatively painless. Basic questions from a corporate outline they follow.

Question 1
Why do you want to work at Target? This question was asked multiple times.
I applied online. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at Target
Interview
Very quick. Recruter reached out within a day of my application. Scheduled a time to talk and interview. Scheduled a time with the Group Manager and HR business partner along with a store team leader through the recruter, said the district admin would reach out to confirm and set up. I received a phone call and email all within 3 mins of hanging up from the recruter. Was able to do my interview within 3 days during the busiest time of the year. Recruter called me the day before my interview to make sure I was comfortable and prepared. First was with the HR business partner the second with the group leader. I received an email within 36 hours congratulating me and welcoming me to Target. Entire process was fast, quick, efficient, and communicated with me constantly. I don’t believe I ever waited longer than an hour before I had a reply to any question or concerns even through the waiting period to start my on-boarding and training.
