I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Target in Jul 2014
Interview
Total of 6 interviews took about 2 weeks. Applied through glassdoor. First with recruiter, then in person with STL who pushed me through to another STL who pushed me through to District Manager. She pushed me through to a Job shadow (the last 4 events took place on the same day). After job shadow I was told someone would contact me. I heard from HR who scheduled an appt. for a phone interview. I then received a call from another STL who asked me to come in for an interview. Then I had my HR phone interview (which is the last step) if you make it that far you should be good, just say the things you said in interviews prior and be yourself. After HR phone interview I was told I would be contacted by my recruiter within 24 hrs. Two hours later I got a job offer.

Interview
applied for the job got called a couple of days later. i had the first phase of the interview was from a recruiter she asked basic questions. after passing that interview phase she told me i was set to move on to the next phase. total interviews for this position is 4. the recruiter was very helpful in providing tips to really get the attention of target hiring managers.

Interview
Very to the point. Starts with self-intro, 'tell me about yourself', then about 4 behavior questions to be answered in STAR format. I was told there are four rounds of interviewing. Advancing only after passing the previous round. I have had two phone interviews, one FaceTime interview and will have another phone interview tomorrow. In order, I have spoken to a corporate recruiter, store manager (store team leader), HR manager (was supposed to speak with district team leader but 'she was called away'). I will speak with regional manager tomorrow so no offer is on the table just yet.
For the questions I wrote out experiences that directly relate to desired qualities for this job. I would recommend having at least 5.

Question 1
Before the second interview I had to take an assessment. The questions were easy - things about your work behavior. the assessment also included a logic portion that was awful. it was really the only timed portion. I actually enjoyed the questions a lot, but I'm REALLLLY out of practice so I was slow at them - AND you lose points if you don't answer them. I literally only answered half of them and randomly selected the rest. I figured I 'failed' but sure enough I passed to the next round. The logic questions are like: if A costs $50 full price and B has a sale price that is less than A and C is $50 dollars more than A and all sale tickets are $10 less than the original price.....
