I applied online. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at Target in Apr 2013
Interview
I submitted an application online and got a call to set up an interview about a week later. My interview was in the early morning and the first thing I did was take a standard test with workplace situations (ex: Is it ever okay to steal from the company?). I then went and waited until I was brought into a back room in the employ-only area, where I watched a video about Target. It proved useful to pay attention to this, as the answers to situational questions were found there. I was then taken to a back room where my first interview took place. The interviewer went through the standard questions then moved onto situational questions. There were mostly asking for specific examples that followed the format of: the situation, the steps you took to resolve it, the resolution, what you learned, and the outcome. These were fairly easy and I was soon taken to another room to do a second interview. This interview followed the same format with slightly more specific situational questions. I was offered the job on the spot and filled out and went over the technicalities in store.

I applied online. I interviewed at Target (Gurnee, IL)
Interview
It was overall very typical but very friendly. They ask about your previous jobs, school, goals, etc. They also will give you three scenarios they want you to answer/talk about. I remember one question they asked was "when was they last time you received amazing service and what made it amazing?"
