The process took 3 months. I interviewed at TSA (Transportation Security Administration) in Dec 2018
Interview
After passing the computer based test, I went in for the face to face airport assessment with 2 interviewers. They took turns asking a series of situational questions which they read off of their papers about past interactions. After 20 minutes, I was excused and brought back to the main lobby. Another agent then came to get me and took me to another office. As I sat down she read from her paperwork stating that I hadn’t passed this step in the process. I was given no reason as to why I wasn’t accepted, only that I could try again in 6 months. I’m an 8 year combat veteran with more experience than 90% of the people walking into the TSA and yet they hire those people over a qualified and competent veteran. Boggles my mind.

Question 1
What did you do when presented with a certain situation?
I applied in-person. The process took 6 months. I interviewed at TSA (Transportation Security Administration) (South Bend, IN)
Interview
The interviews were done along with most of the other hiring requirements, such as testing color vision. It was at the separate building from the airport, and there were about 4 other applicants also going through the process. TSA could hire multiple applicants, as they have a high turnover rate, so they call up the qualified applicants after a slot opens. After being "hired", I did not get the call to start until 3-4 months later.
