Interview
I applied online, and visited the brick and mortar store in my local area. Showed my face to the manager with resume in hand. He referred me to another manager.

Interview
I applied online for a position in Florida. I had worked for the company for about 10 years in several capacities, including store manager before pursuing other opportunities. I never got past the online assessment. It was decided that I didn't have the qualities to sell their product. The kicker was that I was not qualified to sell their product in the corporate stores but they encouraged me to apply at their authorized dealer locations!! I admit that I had been out of the game for awhile but I wasn't applying for a store manager position or a regional manager position (both of which I had done for corporate) but a sales rep. Needless to say, I didn't bother to go further. It was actually a little insulting. I wasn't good enough for their corporate image but I was good enough to sell their product for a 3rd party. Incidentally, I worked for them when they were known as Voicestream.
I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at T-Mobile (Clovis, CA) in Mar 2017
Interview
we started out outside and then the manager who I didn't know yet began to ask me questions. He asked me to repeat a few things after him to which I did. I come to find out that he wanted me to sell him the stuff that I was repeating which he didn't make clear at all.
