The interview felt relaxed and conversational. The interviewer asked clear, straightforward questions about my experience and goals. I felt prepared, confident, and comfortable throughout, making it an easy and positive experience overall.
I applied online. I interviewed at T-Mobile (Bay Shore, NY) in Jul 2024
Interview
Behavioral Interview to assess sales skills
- Mine was in-person with 3 hiring managers asking questions simultaneously
- It did not feel like an interview at all, more like a conversation to gauge your communication and people skills.
- There were no "trick" questions, and previous sales experience was not required
- Just be yourself, and you will naturally fit in

Question 1
One specific question was "Would you consider yourself a hunter or farmer?"
I did a first quick ten-minute interview with the recruiter to learn more about the job and it was all fine. A few days later they emailed me at 11am to schedule (not request, schedule) an interview for 1:30pm on the same day. I didn't see this email until 2:30pm and so I missed the interview. I emailed them back explaining that the interview had been made on short notice and so I missed it, and they ghosted me. Bad experience.
