I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at T-Mobile (Bellevue, WA) in Jun 2010
Interview
My only advice to others interviewing with T-Mobile for a corporate type job is to NOT expect any timely communication from them. They are notorious for not keeping you updated with what is going on in the whole interview process.
Also, only one person really seemed to have cared at all about the series of interviews. They came to the interview with questions and thoughts already on paper to ask. No one did.

I got a ton of "tell me about a time when..." questions
The process took 1 week. I interviewed at T-Mobile (Richmond, VA) in Aug 2010
Interview
I had to complete an online assessment test, I was contacted back in 3 business days in which I came in for a "job fair". The whole interview process lasted 3 hours in which I listened to a presentation, a live phone call and interviews 1 on 1 with a coach. At that time they told me I had done great and wanted to interview me with the Hiring Manager (actually ended up being 2 Coaches)....The panel interview is very complex and they use the STAR interview! I was told I would hear back in seven business days with an offer, If I was offered the job so now I am just waiting.
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 6 days. I interviewed at T-Mobile (Bellevue, WA) in May 2008
Interview
Because I was interviewing as an internal employee, for a position under the same Sr. Manager, the interview process was shortened considerably. They were quite considerate, making sure that I was one of the first interviewed. I did have to wait several weeks to hear back from them, and obviously I would have wished it was shorter.
In all of my interviews that I have had a T-Mobile, I have found that the process can take a very long time, even when you do end up being offered the position. From others who interview at other companies I frequently hear that they will hear back within a week, sometimes much sooner, as to whether or not they will be continuing through the process. Unfortunately that isn't the case with T-Mobile. They are also not extremely communicative.
But don't assume that just because you don't hear that you definitely will or won't get the job, in my experience.
