Interview
TMO typically use online tool to seek new talent (T-mobile Jobs, 2002-2012) . However, TMO strongly believes in promoting talent through internal organizations. TMO’s hiring managers strive to hire the right people into the right jobs on their unit. They use best practices such as planned and structured approaches when interviewing, asking appropriate questions to accumulate the data that allow them to objectively compare candidates and make the best choices. They look beyond the urgency of filling a position to find the employee who offers a fresh perspective and another dimension to the team—adding a diversity of ideas, approaches, and backgrounds
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at T-Mobile (Bothell, WA) in Jul 2012
Interview
A consultant called me for this job opportunity ,and i think resume was processed only when rates/salary was decided since beginning (i think that was one of the criterion for screening) , it took more then 25 days for T mobile people to respond on resume and calling me on phone.
Phone interview was very conceptual with lots of emphasis on what you have done on past projects.
Strengths and weakness questions/describe concepts with examples etc etc.
People on phone were very friendly and created right atmosphere for eliciting proper response.they let you speak and stress was on understanding you as much as possible. It was 30 mins long.
Next day only i got call for face to face interview where atmosphere was more of a panel interview -i met the whole team and they asked couple of questions and talked about what they do.
It was interaction oriented in making you understand team/work.
It was good and friendly and esp the manager made sure that she observes and treat the person right .
Good experience-just good reading of you own resume and past experience will get you through.
I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at T-Mobile (Brownsville, TX) in Jun 2012
Interview
I applied online on tmobile.com/careers website. It took a couple of days until I received a meeting maker with the date and time of the interview. The meeting maker also stated for me 2 take several copies of my resume and 30/60/90 day action plans. I went in and had a panel interview with the associate director and 2 of the team managers. I was asked about 10 questions and then at the end I went over the action plan. I received the offer about 3 days later in person with the associate director.
