It was fairly straightforward and asked about my history in the industry. The GM wanted to know my familiarity with different products and methods as well. Beyond that, the questions weren't anything unexpected.
It was very similar to a conversation and less like an interview. The manager told me a lot about the company and asked me about myself and why I wanted to work for Starbucks.
I applied in-person. I interviewed at Starbucks (Auburn, AL) in Mar 2020
Interview
Super easy and laid back, just asks you hypothetical questions about time management and how you would mediate situations between your partners or between your customers, and how to make the moment right. Will want to know what makes you a good fit for the role, I focused in on the values Starbucks carries and how I wanted to carry those values also. I got the job same day.
