The process took 3 days. I interviewed at Starbucks (Toronto, ON) in Apr 2012
Interview
I saw an ad posted on craigslist saying these locations were hiring and I immediately applied. Three hours later, I got a call from the store manager asking to schedule an interview at their store. As I read from others, they offered you a drink on the house during the interview while you wait for the manager to come out.
The interview lasted around 20minutes and started off with her confirming my availability (which i even agreed to stay late for closings). Then came 4-5 behavioural/scenario questions that all started off with "give me a time when...". As I have read on this site the possibility of questions, I felt that I performed well as I responded instantly and confidently.
The interview itself was relaxing and I thought I had passed the interview with the manager, and she said she'd let me know the next day or two whether I got the job or not after screening other applicants. Unfortunately I have not heard back from her at all, and not only that I still see her posting the ad up two weeks after my interview (AND her locations having a job fair too).
Interview questions [3]
Question 1
Give me a time when you had to do several tasks at the same time and how you did it
Received an email asking to schedule an interview for the following week. The interview took place in the store itself, and took about 15 minutes. The questions were pretty average.
First interview went well, just the basic behavioral questions that should be answered using the STAR method. Second interview was less questions but with the district manager. Still waiting to hear back (if they reach out at all).

Question 1
Tell me about a time where you had to navigate a situation where the supervisor wasn’t available.
Basically a short chat about my availability, my interest in the job, why I want to work there, how familiar I am with coffee and what my past experiences in hospitality were.
