It sounded pretty hectic as there was not ample time to even glance through the entire lengths of the manuscripts. The third hour was about scientific discussions about the manuscripts and your assessments on them. Final decision was conveyed after two weeks, stating that they were looking for someone with a background in a slightly different area. It sounded like this decision could have been made via the initial CV screening stage itself, indicating lack of respect for the time and effort, candidates put in for the hiring process.
