Springer Nature Copy Editor interview questions

I was phoned out of the blue and asked a few interview questions. I then received a 3000 word document via email to "copy-edit". I was provided with vague instructions on how to complete the task, and because of this it took up a lot of my time. After submitting the document I had to wait over a month to receive a rejection email and some feedback. I was glad to receive feedback, but it was not well articulated and was overly critical/condescending in tone. Not a great experience overall. Long waiting times and bad communication.

I applied online and around a month later I was sent a 3-page document to copy edit. 2-3 weeks afterwards I was invited to interview. I had an hour long interview plus an additional timed copy editing test.
