This was through Slack For Good. Really straightforward. A 15-30 min phone call; the recruiter was really nice and easy to talk to. She asked questions about working with various groups of people.
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Slack (San Francisco, CA) in Jan 2020
Interview
Phone Screen, On-site with 6 Panels. Engineer led Architecture Screen. Most of the panels had folks shadowing the interviews. Pretty standard engineering manager panels. Didn't get the impression they were using strict rubrics to evaluate candidates.

I applied online. I interviewed at Slack (New York, NY)
Interview
The interview process consisted of a phone interview with the hiring manager. I was then given a task to prepare for an on-site interview. The on-site interview consisted of me first presenting the task to a team of individuals, with a Q&A period. It then broke out into multiple 1:1 interviews including the hiring manager, data scientist on the team, another product manager at the company, and an engineering manager with a UX lead.
