I applied for the role through Siemens Energy’s job portal. The process started with an initial HR screening, which was followed by a 30-minute interview with a recruiter. After that, I had a panel interview with the hiring team, consisting of four people (one director and three senior managers). The interview itself was straightforward and mostly focused on my previous experience and how I could contribute to the team.
A couple of days later, I was asked to provide references via an online platform. They requested three referees, one of whom needed to be my current or previous manager. My referees confirmed they had completed the reference forms, which consisted of 40+ detailed questions.
However, after all references were submitted, I never received any further communication from the recruiter. Despite following up multiple times via email, I was completely ghosted and have had no response since.
Overall, the lack of communication and transparency post-interview was disappointing, especially considering the time and effort put into the process, both from my side and from my referees.
