There was a phone screen, phone interview, on site interview all within one month, and then an entire month with no communication. Not offered position, likely because HR did not ask about salary expectations until after all of the interviews, which should have been covered in initial phone screen.

First, their research person will call me and asked me technical questions about my PhD topic very detailedly, with lots of fundamental questions. After, we had second on-site interview, a 30 mins presentation and they still asked a lot of fundamental questions, they may care about the theory. And also some non-technical questions, like what your carrer plan are? hobbies?
