The process took 1 day. I interviewed at SLB (Houston, TX) in Feb 2010
Interview
I attended an information session on campus and they stated they still had a few interview slots open the next day and that if you were interested to leave your resume with them and they would call you that night. I didn't have my resume with me but I waited in the long line of students afterwards to talk to the recruiter who said I should email my resume to him within the hour, if possible. I did, he called me back an hour after that to offer me the interview. In the interview he asked a lot of questions I wasn't expecting. In retrospect the interview questions seemed to be asked in such a way as to gage my behavior and reaction to the questions but I remember leaving the interview feeling horrible because it felt like I had to come up with answers on the spot for every question (and because my interviewer hardly smiled at all!) But I did much better than I thought because I was offered the internship after all and became friends with my recruiter. I advise interviewees to be honest and don't panic if you don't know how to answer a question right away, just take a few brief moments to think it over and you should be alright.
Interview questions [3]
Question 1
Tell me about yourself (right after he read my resume to me)
What do you do for fun outside of school and school activities? I said I liked to travel so he followed up with "What was the most interesting place you've traveled to? D
The process took 1 day. I interviewed at SLB in May 2009
Interview
Interviewer went over my resume and asked questions about previous work experience, classes, ect. Several typical questions along the lines of, "Talk about a time you overcame adversity" and "Talk about previous leadership experiences." One technical problem solving question of medium difficulty was asked, relating to material properties of oil.

Question 1
How could one test whether a material in a well was oil or water?
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at SLB (Sugar Land, TX) in Jan 2010
Interview
I only had to go through one interview, which was not technical. The kind of questions I was asked were general, like "Do you enjoy working in a team or by yourself?", "Give an example of a situation in which you were creative.", "When does the school year end and when would you be available to start?", etc.
I felt like the interviewer was taking notes of what I was saying, which seemed kind of awkward.
