HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE I had two interviews, first with HR and a second one with 2 members of the team that I would be working in. The interviews themselves were pretty standard but the horrible experience started afterward. They extended an offer and I accepted it. I was told there were some delays so instead of starting 3 days after they extended the offer (previously agreed date), I would start a week later. I had no problem with that. A couple of days passed and I did not hear from them so I wrote an e-mail. They answered saying that they were having problems with my working visa (I do not need a working visa). I let them know and I was told they will look into it. More days passed and my new start date was 2 days away so I wrote them again. I was told again they were having problems with my working visa (again, I do not need a working visa) and that they will let me know when they had updates. Almost a whole week passed and still haven't heard anything from them. I wrote them again, asking for updates. They called me and said that they were pulling back the offer they gave me. But that they were extending a new offer where I would be doing the exact same job but I would have to move to a different country and work from that office. And also that they would be paying less than a third of the salary we agreed. Because this salary was half than minimum wage, they would need me to sign some extra papers too. I was astonished and of course, rejected their very offensive offer. I was then told that they could no longer do anything else so that would be their last communication. Overall, it is incredible that a company of this size and reputation allows this to happen.
