I applied through a recruiter. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Rippling (Sídney) in May 2023
Interview
It all started off on a good note where the recruiter was moving things fast and seamlessly. I had 4 rounds of interviews:
1. Recruiter screen - was an average chat. She was more focused on role alignment literally reading from a JD.
2. Hiring Manager Interview - This one was b2b with 2 different people. The manager this role reports to and the Head of Imp. Both were very sound in terms of expectations. It was a good one I can say.
3. Panel Presentation - This one was the least rated. I initially had 4 people from the interview attending the presentation but on the day of this interview, two of them declined and ended up with just 2 teammates in the interview. I surely did a terrific job with my presentation because they wouldn't have expected me to come up with my previous product for a demo. I made the deck with an Implementation lifecycle in general, what stage the imp is currently at, and a demo of the product. I was asked questions that were OK for the most part. Ended the session well. Was slightly overtime which I cautioned a few times during the presentation and the panel was ok to spend extra mins.
Finished it in a nice way and then the outcome is "You spent overtime on your presentation. We need someone with good time management skills".
I was shocked to hear this when HR came back to me. I felt they were just making up some excuse to get me out of the interview in the first place. There was no reason to flag a time management issue tbh. If that was the case, Why didn't the panel flag time sensitivity when the presentation was ongoing or when I flagged it a few times during the session? Didn't the panel know what they were assessing candidates on?

Question 1
There were mostly about the role and I nailed them for a fact that my exp with in Onboarding or Implementation is extensive.
Very short and to the point No one lead you on during the process Happy with how quick it was Took about two weeks I had three different interviews One with the recruiter and two with managers
I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Rippling (Greenville, SC) in Apr 2023
Interview
Getting the interview set up was quick and easy. The interview was only scheduled for 15min which I thought was odd and didn't really provide a lot of time to get to know me as a candidate. The questions were basic but then the recruiter questioned my motives in my job changes over the last 5 or so years. The interviewer seemed to be really judgmental of the changes I had made but at the same time mentioned that the role would be a good fit. I then received an email in the next couple days stating that they were moving in another direction. Really glad I'm not moving forward with Rippling because the interviewer gave me a pretty clear understanding of the Rippling culture.
