Interview
I was contacted because of my sales management experience to schedule an interview with a District Manager at Ricoh. He did an amazing job in balancing interviewing my skill set and discovering how I felt the fit might be for me. There were two interviews, with a final planned to be done face-to-face. I had a different opportunity, and could not abandon some things that would be required for me to abandon so that I personally could take the job. However, the job was offered and the compensation was generous. The District Manager seemed motivated to find a manager that would help individuals really succeed.

This was difficult, even though a question of its nature was expected: "Tell me how you would implement a motivational incentive scheme and cultivate a competitive atmosphere? How would you balance that with creating office unity."
