I applied through a recruiter. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Ricoh
Interview
Contacted by recruiter and screened, had initial interview, field ride w/sales rep (very important part!) and then final interview, drug screen, job offer.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Lots and lots of questions. Here is a hint, they are looking for actual events, and not an I would do this type of answer to their final interview questions. They call them Behavioral Questions and they are looking for you to answer them with a specific, the task, action you took and the result.
nothing I can recall. the process was as you would expect and you can see from the other reviews. There are questions and there are answers then a second interview if necessary.
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Ricoh (Glasgow, Escocia)
Interview
Invited for initial in-person interview after submitting CV and Cover letter, for them to basically tell me in person that from my CV they didn't think I had enough experience. Timewasters.
Interview questions [2]
Question 1
Questions were not clear, but basically was asked if I know the Scottish Market. I proceeded to explain that I had a few scottish clients in my previous sales role, but they didn't really give me an opportunity to speak. Their Head of Sales for UK and Head of Sales for Scotland don't understand the 80/20 rule and just like the sound of their own voice.
Very smooth. 2 rounds of interviews. One was a phone interview. After the phone interview, you the manager. The manager asked basic questions around your experience. Additionally, he'll walk you through what typical day looks like.
