First they sent a home task, then I had a phone screen with the hiring manager, a quick conversation with a recruiter, and a consulting-style case interview. All of these were rescheduled at least once. The home task was super easy, but it was weird that they asked me to invest my time in them without saying what they had to offer. (The task had a bonus section that I didn't look at.) The call with the hiring manager was a train wreck. He barely gave me a chance to talk. I would answer his questions but by the time I was in my second sentence he would interrupt to ask another question. I made up my mind to not accept any offers from Revolut here, but I decided to continue to see if they made an offer. The conversation with a recruiter seemed to be to prepare me for the case interview – I also didn't get the chance to learn anything about the position or ask any questions. The case interviewer was ok, but I definitely half-assed my preparation and didn't do a great job. Still – they ghosted me after this interview and haven't said anything since. I emailed them to ask about my application's status but I'm still waiting for an answer. Overall... next time a Revolut recruiter messages me, I will certainly not respond.
