I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Revolut (Singapur) in Apr 2019
Interview
One of the most efficient and in-depth interviews I have ever had.
Before any interview, you have to pass an analytics home task. What I got was not so relevant to the position I applied for but I understood the rational behind it and took it as an opportunity to stand out - just think how many applicants would be turned off by that. In fact it only took a little bit of my time in one afternoon to complete and I also got a peek of what unique, real-life challenges are handled by the crew at Revolut. After submitting the home task, I got a thumb-up in 2 weeks. Sweet!
The next part was 3 rounds of video interviews (as I was traveling) - 1 with recruiting, 2 with ops. Each interview was arranged within 2 days after the previous one, even with the London-Asia time difference. Feedback was all given within 24 hours. All the interviewers know their stuff and, impressively, your stuff as well. No bragging-about-the-perks, no brain teasers, no repetitive 'tell me about yourself' - I came out of these interviews knowing already what I could do for the company, how the company could help me grow, and most importantly, that these are the folks I absolutely want to work with.
As a recruiter, I can voucher this is the way recruiting should be done.
I applied through other source. I interviewed at Revolut
Interview
Passed multiple stages and did not receive feedback. I have been contacted multiple times on linkedin by different recruiters with the same position but they disappeared after a question about previous interview process outcome
After I applied online. I was asked without a first introduction call to complete an online assessment. I prepared for that assessment but since I could not do it from a laptop I asked for the deadline to be extended. I was then gosthed by the recruiter who never answered my emails and Linkedin inmails.
This is quite a bitter experience : being asked to prepare for a test without a first chat and then being ignored. A simple "No we can't extend the test deadline" would have done the job. Not quite the recruitment process described online.
In 2026 caring for the candidate experience is key to keep the employer branding safe. Wishing you to find the suitable candidate who will challenge your current practices.
Buena entrevista con una recruiter del exterior. Me enviaron el feedback de out por mail a la semana aproximadamente. Overall buena experiencia aunque no quede el proceso fue practico y sin mayores inconvenientes
