I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at RTX in Feb 2020
Interview
It was a phone interview after a referral. The phone interview was pretty short and simple. Ask you basic question on your resume and what you usually do in the lab and what skill you usually use to study.

They have a process to select their candidates. I went through 3 interviews. Two were over the phone where they ask about my interests and then some technical question about aerodynamics, controls, and structures. Then the final interview, I met with the chief engineers in the GNC department where they asked questions to show my knowledge on the topics.

I applied through college or university. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at RTX
Interview
Phone interview then an in-person interview. All seemed well and professional. No complaints could be made other than the interview time, it seemed pretty late in the day. The phone interview was just explaining the role and making sure you were at least somewhat qualified before they brought you in.
