The recruiter had salary discussions, but still proceeded with the team manager interview round without confirming a match in salary expectations. Had another salary discussion after the team manager interview round (which went very well), without any budget updates on their end. Went radio silent since, never replied to any follow-up emails, and sent rejection emails after 3-4 weeks without any email updates.
