      Associate Interview

      Application

I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at PwC in Apr 2021

      Interview

I originally applied via their website but haven't heard from them for a month, so I tried again thru referral and that's when I got an invite. They gave me an exam about basic accounting questions with few audit terms and a behavioral exam which was pretty much a bit of anything under the sun (from speed math to work stuff and more accounting). After a week, I got an invite for HR interview, then 2 days after with the hiring manager. HR was easy, the interviewer asked a lot about situational things like one time you encountered a difficult task, etc. But she was nice and even told me my strong and weak points during the interview plus recommendations. Not gonna lie, the final interview was scary for me as the manager was sort of intimidating but he didn't ask technical stuff but more on the job you're about to take, reasons for choosing the company, about yourself that isn't on your resume, etc. 5 days later, I got the offer!

I interviewed at PwC (New York, NY)

      Interview

Made it to a case round where they asked fairly basic questions about a business case and what I would do with new data. Pretty standard for consulting interviews, nothing unexpected.

Given this new data for the business case we gave you, how would you update your recommendations?

      Interview

Online test and then in person interview. The online tests were faily standard. Interview process followed why pwc and why the role etc . They then asked if I wanted to ask them anything and I could tell that they were interested to see if I'd researched the role and company and had applicable questions.

      Question 1

Why audit and why PwC? How do you cope with trikcy situations? Clients aren't always easy
