I applied online. The process took 5 weeks. I interviewed at PwC in Oct 2020
Interview
I applied at the end of September and started with the Game based assessment, I personally liked it as it took away from the stress that I would normally have during other assessments. It's pretty much playing some brain games (similar to JP Morgan assessment).
Same day I heard that I had passed and was invited for a hireview interview.
The hireview interview took me around 45 - 60 minutes and I took breaks between questions to drink water and clear my mind. Questions were pretty normal, they're really just trying to see what your motivations are for joining PwC and how you fit with their values.
From this I also heard back same day and was invited for an online assessment centre (COVID) which I took at the end of October.
The assessment centre was around 5 hours and it was quite tough, you had quite a lot of work to get through in the time.
Written task on a case study
Numerical tasks answering via email
1-1 interview
Group work on a case study (with an email of recommendations after)
And a self reflection email type thing.
My biggest tip is to keep track of your time, seriously... time flies by when you're focused on work.
Written - average
Numerical - very simple
1-1 interview - simple
Group work - HARD.
Go onto their employability hub, it's super helpful. Also go onto their virtual parks and talk to recruiters and current graduates. They really just want to see if you have the skills to work for PwC, if you have the right motivations and if you know what you're actually getting yourself into.
Took around 5 weeks from the start of my application to my offer.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Why PwC?
Why Audit?
What do you expect to do working here?
Some situational questions.
First, had to do online application. Then had to do a game-based assessment on mobile phone. Then, if you pass this, you get invited to do an online interview. This involved watching a number of videos, which were followed by questions related to the content of the videos. First question on why PWC, then competency-based questions.

Question 1
How AI can be used to benefit both the client and PWC
I applied in-person. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at PwC (Edimburgo, Escocia) in Nov 2018
Interview
Online application, followed by generic numeric testing, succeed by compaby and role specific testing, which culminates in an intense career focus day at a specific site office (not necessarily the one you have applied to).
