I applied through college or university. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at PwC (Washington, DC) in Apr 2011
Interview
I met a recruiter at an event at my university. We had a talk about my background and studies and she suggested that I attend another networking event to learn more about the company and the specific line of service. After this networking event, I applied for the position and had an in person screening interview with the recruiter on campus.
I passed that interview and was flown to the office location for an onsite interview. I had about 5 interviews with senior leadership (directors and partners) that each lasted about 20 minutes. It was a bit overwhelming as a college student, but I was offered the internship. Basically just keep calm and be genuine, articulate, and upbeat. They appreciate enthusiasm and being personable, especially for client facing roles
I know that they now have case questions and a presentation for internship interviews, however that was enacted only within the past year.
I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at PwC (Milán)
Interview
I only had an interview with an HR staff (some general questions and a test for English language skills) and with a Senior Manager (general question on my university path and past job positions)
The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at PwC (París) in Jan 2015
Interview
I went through three rounds of interviews:1) a group interview with a non-technical case study, designed to test leadership. Involving also an English test , designed to test knowledge of the business jargon2) A very technical interview with a Manager. 3) A final motivational interview with a Partner. I felt that the second, as predictable, was the hardest part.

Question 1
Why do you want to come to PwC rather than following a career in Finance, which is more consistent with your studies?
