Interview
After completing an online, scenario based assessment, I was then invited to a face to face interview. I was interviewed by one of the assistant managers. I felt comfortable and we had an informal chat before hand which broke the ice.

Tell me about yourself? How confident are you out of 10 and why? What is communication? Why work for Primark? Who are our competitors? An example of a time you made a mistake? Why should we hire you?
They asked around four typical STAR interview questions that are simple to answer with prep and it lasted about ten to fifteen minutes. It was overall good and very relaxed.

There’s an exam first at home then an in person interview, it’s one manager interviewing you and it’s quite short, they don’t ask too many questions just know your CV and being able to work flexible hours helps

They asked about previous experience, and how to handle certain situations with customers, also about flexibility
Questions you would expect in majority retail roles. Questions about shop floor interactions. Customer interactions etc. There's only a few questions. Interview focuses the most on your soft skills and your approach to the retail environment.
