I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Primark in Oct 2021
Interview
All in all the interview was very good. My interviewer was really nice and easy to talk to. They told me I had the job by the end of it so really easy and chilled if you just research a bit about it.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
They first asked about my availability etc hours and days I could do. Then they asked about any pre-booked holidays. Then went on to question, "tell us about yourself" "why primark?" "what skills do you think you need to work hear?" "what is good customer service?" . There was then scenarios like "how do you deal with an angry customer wanting to use the fitting rooms?" "What would you deal with first; a customer or a mess on the floor or stock being put out first?"
They asked around four typical STAR interview questions that are simple to answer with prep and it lasted about ten to fifteen minutes. It was overall good and very relaxed.

There’s an exam first at home then an in person interview, it’s one manager interviewing you and it’s quite short, they don’t ask too many questions just know your CV and being able to work flexible hours helps
