I applied online. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at Primark (Liverpool, Inglaterra) in Mar 2017
Interview
Arrived ten minutes early as asked. Was escorted by a more then bubbly member of staff to the 5th floor for my interview. Interviewee said hello and kindly introduced herself. First question asked was if i have legal records of proof t work in the UK, to which i had replied "Yes" (My birth certificate and national insurance number) I was then asked to hand all over and patiently wait as she reviews all in her office. When all was done she came and collected me to begin my interview. All was good, calm and overall a pleasant exsperience. Interviewee was well mannered, kind and seemed to be recieving my awnsers to questions asked postively. All smiles and laughs. Remained eye contact, formal body language and smiles with my interviewee throughout. Questions were fair and reasonable for all were retail based. If unsure through never working in retail please do research as it will be needed. my availabilty was later questioned, uniform and job roles explained alongside my pay. Happy with the final results and overall exsperience. I was told i will be told whether or not ive got the job in two weeks, if i am not emailed within two weeks assume i've got the job and im being put through the process. To my suprise i recieved a phone call two hours later to say i had indeed got the job. Looking forward to working in primark soon.
You're helping a customer with an outfit and they want to try the outfit on. The changing room queues are very long and they don't want to wait. What would you do?
Questions you would expect in majority retail roles. Questions about shop floor interactions. Customer interactions etc. There's only a few questions. Interview focuses the most on your soft skills and your approach to the retail environment.
