I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Primark (Lancaster, Inglaterra) in Apr 2016
Interview
Applied online and received an email a month later offering an interview for the following week. It was for a new store opening so we had to sit through a presentation for around twenty minutes beforehand. The staff were incredibly friendly and calmed everybody's nerves. After this we were taken into a large room where there were about thirty supervisors waiting to interview us. We all got assigned somebody to be our interviewer and the one to one interview lasted around thirty minutes. Overall a great experience and was offered a job four days later. Definitely the most organised interview I have ever attended.
There’s an exam first at home then an in person interview, it’s one manager interviewing you and it’s quite short, they don’t ask too many questions just know your CV and being able to work flexible hours helps
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
They asked about previous experience, and how to handle certain situations with customers, also about flexibility
Questions you would expect in majority retail roles. Questions about shop floor interactions. Customer interactions etc. There's only a few questions. Interview focuses the most on your soft skills and your approach to the retail environment.
