First round’s the standard HR phone call, eventually there will be a panel type interview One panel may go through your resume bullet by bullet and ask you how/why you did what you did. Then they go into the theory and technical knowledge about the analytical techniques you know. Be sure to know the working theory behind the instruments you use! Another panel will ask your standard STAR questions, and a mix of technical questions. Finally, you’ll meet with a manager level scientist, and it’s mostly STAR questions, but for me it was open ended so you’ll have to ask them questions instead.
