I applied through college or university. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at PepsiCo (Tempe, AZ) in Feb 2014
Interview
Applied through college career link. Had one phone interview were they asked about my resume. Was told over the phone that I had passed and they would contact me to schedule an in person interview. The in person was more resume talk with some behavior questions thrown in. You should be able to say why you want to work there. That was the final stage and I'm currently awaiting a response.

Interview
I applied through my university career website. I was selected for an initial 1:1 interview with the local USM. Surprisingly, I passed the first interview and the second interview was with the HR Hiring Manager. This was more casual because he was young and an alum from my university. I got an offer maybe 1-2 weeks after that.
