Conducted an initial phone call and then an interview. The interview itself was fine and the application process felt normal. However, I felt that the expectations in the vacancy description didn't align with the questions they were asking me. I got turned down, which is fine, but the interviewer went into explicit detail about why I wasn't a good fit. This is fine in theory, but I didn't fit all the qualifications mentioned in the interview but my profile fit the vacancy well. I think they just need to work on their vacancies so interviewees are actually clear on what they are looking for.
I applied through college or university. I interviewed at PepsiCo (Columbia, MD) in Mar 2024
Interview
It was easy. It was mainly just behavioral questions. Overall, it's not something to stress over too much. Still, prepare yourself for the questions they will ask. There are no technical questions.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
What was a time you disagreed with a coworker and how did you resolve the conflict
I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at PepsiCo (Texas City, TX) in Sep 2024
Interview
Pretty chill and easy. Nice people. STAR-type questions. 30 minutes long. Spoke to a young person and it was some get-to-know-you questions. The company wanted to do 2nd phone call after the initial interview.
