The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Pearson in May 2010
Interview
The entire process was only longer since the position was seasonal not to begin until June. Initial communication was via phone with Human Resources in Pennsylvania. First step was phone interview with them. After that stage, there was forms to be filled out online. I then had to be intereviewed with the Lead Test Administrator at the center I was going to be working with. This was more informal, she had about 5 pages of questions where they filled in boxes on my responses. Her recommendation was given back to PA, and they were the ones to do the inital hiring. Training before actual work started was about 16 hours (but since season hadn't started yet - this was over a series of weeks). All employees must pass a computer based training class (questions on procedure, policy) to officially work.
