A wild experience. I had a quick chat with a recruiter and they scheduled an interview, I was then requested to complete a complex take home task before even having a 1st interview! I would estimate the task would take about 8 hours to complete so I pulled out of the process, it was a completely wild thing to ask a candidate to do up front and to me shows the company doesn't respect candidates time.

I presented for 30 minutes, then discussed my experience and the role for the next 30 minutes. a week later i received a phone call from HR with a job offer.

One is called and recieves a screening interview, next a panel interview with peers and higher ups by phone. The final interview is a phone interview with the hiriing authority. Everyone was exceptionally nice and straght forward. One should be clear about what they are going to say and how it may sound on the phone to avoid misinterpretation or confusion.
