The process took 5 days. I interviewed at Oracle in Feb 2011
Interview
Phone call with a recruiter to go over sales metrics, quota achievment etc. Next was a in person interview with 3 mgrs, one at a time. Oracle only wants to hire good performers so be prepared to talk about your sales success and what happened when you lost a deal etc.
They are a big "next steps" company, that is there sales process and it carries over into interviews. Make sure to ask what the next steps will be, you have to close them for the next interview. Next will be a presentation on a product of your choosing, sometimes it's a webex sometimes in person. Last is an interview with the VP.
I think it would be a fun place to work and a great position to have on your resume.
Easy, three part, met with hiring manager and two similar level managers. They were doing a hiring blitz so it ended up being 3 sales managers interviewing the whole group and selecting their teams.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
How does your past experience in sales help you with this role?
I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at Oracle (Sídney)
Interview
Several interviews with a presentation. Fairly straight forward.
Once you’ve met with key stakeholders you have to pass the background checks etc. this can take some time.
Sharing this as the hiring manager rather than applicant.
I applied online. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at Oracle (Bogotá, Cundinamarca) in Mar 2024
Interview
Interview process was very lengthy and not a lot of communication happened for many weeks. After three months of random back-and-forth, I was finally able to get an interview. Sadly, it wasn't a great fit for them, but it was a very long process.
