I applied through a recruiter. The process took 4 months. I interviewed at Oracle in Jun 2024
Interview
I’m very disappointed with the recent interview I had. Finally after I think 4 months I finished oracle interviews. I think interviews went very well. The interviews were not difficult but eventually they rejected with no feedback. They kept pushing things to next weeks and months. They forgot to send me preparation email until very late. Interviewers didn’t show up as scheduled and some of them had not prepared anything to ask. For example, product manager was supposed to ask coding and they said they can’t ask coding since they are not coding for long time. The format of two interviews were not as expected and explained in the emails but still I think I did quite well. They asked me about my previous projects and I explained with many details. They asked some networking/cloud questions that I answered. I answered all other questions with enough details. I put lots of time and energy preparing for their interview and the result came to my surprise. They said based on the company’s policy they cannot provide any sort of feedback which is not fair at all after such long process.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Every random question from programing languages to previous experiences, mostly behavioral questions about why I left previous jobs or else.

Interview
Fairly easy tech screen. Loop was a bit of a mess. Coding portions required AI which was not mentioned ahead of time. One of the interviewers told me to find bugs in some code using AI, but accidentally pasted the solution instead of the buggy code which led to issues.
I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at Oracle (Nashville, TN)
Interview
Standard coding screen followed by loop rounds.
Loop rounds -
1. System design - focused on the infra aspect more
2. Behavioral - turned into technical quickly and did some white boarding to explain how I cracked a problem.
3. Bartender - as they are all from platform team, most of their questions were targeted for infra position and that confused me.
Bias for action seemed very important for them than any other principle.
Coding - another leetcode medium and was easy to solve.

System design - Youtube using barebones infra instead of ootb services
The interviews were mostly medium level leetcode questions. Takes a lot longer than you would expect. About 3 months from beginning to end. The offer stage and background stage take the longest
