The interview process was way too long for a three-month internship. I received a message from the recruiter to apply for the position in November and only heard back in January asking for a writing sample. My first interview happened in February with the recruiter. I asked what the next steps would look like, and they informed me that there would be two more interviews with the team. In these interviews, I mentioned that I made videos and PowerPoints for previous internships and was asked to share them. I ended up having one additional interview — the fourth counting with the recruiter screening— with the vice president. Please value the time of your candidates. Two interviews should be more than enough to select an intern.
