I applied online. I interviewed at Octopus Energy in Oct 2021
Interview
Quite a long process - initial interview, you then have to complete literacy and numeracy tests, then a group “discovery day” where you participate in different group tasks. After this there was a final interview where I was offered the job. All of the assessors were really nice and the experience was very positive.
Tayla was really helpful and always kept in communication with me throughout the process.

Question 1
What is an example of when you have shown adaptability in the workplace?
I applied online. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at Octopus Energy (Londres, Inglaterra) in Feb 2022
Interview
First I had a 30 minute Skype interview with Aasimah from Instant Impact where I spoke about my work experience and career goals. Aasimah was amazing and extremely helpful! The second stage was the 'Discovery Day' which was structured as follows
-Ice breaker
-Group task (you need to do your research for this!!)
-Q&A with current Octopus employees
- 1-1 Interview
You also have to pass a verbal reasoning test and a numerical one, they're GCSE level. I was given a bit of extra time which I assume was because of my learning difficulty so I very much appreciated that.
A week later I was invited to a final interview with two members of the Octopus team at the London office.
