Lots of disorganisation from their part and they were late for my interview. Asked me standard questions including competency and capability and wanted to understand why i wanted to become a nurse even though I have been one for 20 years
Good, quite easy, but assume the directors are likely to recruit internally and hire those rather than external applicants. Worth asking employer or manager about this first. I’m not sure what else to write about
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
1. Why do you want to work as a support worker in the NHS?
2. How would you handle a difficult patient or challenging situation?
I applied online. I interviewed at NHS (Leeds, England) in Mar 2024
Interview
Very calm. Interviewers were very eager to make sure you got the most out of the interview. Was quite relaxed atmosphere, nothing to formal. Was able to engage in a range of conversations and did not feel stressed at all throughout.
