I applied online. I interviewed at Microsoft in Apr 2021
Interview
Very long. Initial interview was out out of Seattle for their Search, Intelligence, Assistance product. They were encouraging and then not. Made it to the final round only to be told no, but was passed on to another area to interview. That guy was uninterested. Did not get the job.
I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at Microsoft (Belgrade) in Dec 2019
Interview
I talked with a couple of interviewers, one after another for a couple of hours checking my experiences from different angles. Mostly the things from my CV, only one, so called system design problem to analyze. Some interviewers were more, I'd say intentionally, provocative, probably due to the position.
