      Support Engineer Interview

      May 23, 2017
      Anonymous employee
      San José, San José
      Accepted offer
      Positive experience
      Difficult interview

      Application

I applied through college or university. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Microsoft (San José, San José) in Apr 2017

      Interview

Well, depending on which country you are, I believe the MO might change a bit. I was hired by Microsoft, and the job interview was pretty straightforward, but with a twist to it. You will be first called by phone by some MS associate, they will ask you a few questions, put you to solve some situational cases (not always), and maybe even just talk to you, like a regular person to person conversation. After this phone interview, if you pass, you will be sent an email or they will contact you by some mean. After this, they will call you and schedule a formal job interview on premises. Once you are there, the real fun begins. You will go through 4 job interviews in a single day! This might sound daunting and possibly tiring, but don't worry, they are relatively short and they will most likely ask you the same questions, but don't be to confident, each interviewer is measuring different aspects. That would be it. Thanks for reading!
