I applied through an employee referral. The process took 5 weeks. I interviewed at Meta (New York, NY) in Sep 2021
Interview
The interview process was the most organized I've ever seen. I knew exactly what was happening and when. And more importantly, the recruiter coached me through the entire experience. He told me exactly what the team was looking for and what to highlight in my portfolio.
The first interview was, surprisingly, through a WhatsApp call. The interviewer was very friendly and professional. Nothing really surprising besides that. It felt like the usual hiring process across startups.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Meta (Seattle, WA) in Mar 2025
Interview
Thoroughly documented in an online portal. Nothing unexpected and really helpful to prepare for the actual interviews, especially given the short amount of time you have to present work & answer questions.
The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Meta (New York, NY)
Interview
It was a typical loop process for a large company. It started with a 30 minute presentation of your portfolio, a one-on-one with a manager talking about your background, a app review, and whiteboarding test.

Question 1
In the app review they asked me what the good and the bad things about the Google Maps application were. I had to walk them through what was nice and what could be improved.
