I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at McKinsey & Company
Interview
The hiring process starts off with a written exam; 1 hour long, 30 to 40 multiple choice type questions over 3 to 4 different consulting project-like case study. If you pass it, there are 4 to 6 interviews each with one partner from the firm (I do not know the exact number because it varies with a candidate). The interview is usually 1 hour to 1.5 hour long; it consists of case interview (you can google what it is, it is all over internet) as well as past experience interview (college, job, etc).

There is no single question that is difficult. Case interviews are sometimes tricky, so you might want to get yourself prepared
I interviewed at McKinsey & Company (Ciudad de México)
Interview
Interview process was really great, all interviewers were friendly and professional. Started with a phone screen, then two case interview rounds with a partner and a senior associate, followed by a final round covering fit and problem-solving skills

Question 1
Tell me about a time you had to influence someone without formal authority
It was a one-to-one interview with a consultant. It's a typical case study. The experience was traumatizing. I know my answers weren't great, the consultant was elegant and didn't bother to hide his boredom.
