I applied online. The process took 5 weeks. I interviewed at McKinsey & Company (Moscú, ) in Nov 2012
Interview
Moscow office HR managers are horrible, breaking every single promise (around 20 of them) they themselves give.
Internship is post-undergrad, and you need to get past PST (test) and 2 interviews to get the offer.
The criteria are not that high. You just have to be reasonably good at cases, and that's it. It is usual McKinsey-style interviewer-led cases mostly making sure you are smart enough, not requiring a lot of preparation (forget hundreds of mock case-interviews and all these frameworks). Just answer the questions in a logical manner and have good business judgement and you'll be fine. Shortly, be smart.
I applied through college or university. The process took 5 weeks. I interviewed at McKinsey & Company (Chicago, IL) in May 2026
Interview
1st round (2 virtual interviews) + 2nd round (3 in-person interviews, same difficulty). Each round had a personal experience interview + case interview. Interviewers were friendly. Good experience overall. Received decisions same day.
1 PEI question(out of the 4 themes on their website) and 1 case(varies for every interview). I suggest using case coach to practice. Each round consists of 2 interviews all following the same format

Question 1
A time you worked in a team where some team members disagreed with you
I interviewed at McKinsey & Company (Varsovia, Mazovia)
Interview
After the CV application, you are invited to do a McKinsey Solve online assessment. It is consists of 3 games that you need to play. I recommend doing some preperation in the internet.
