I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at McKinsey & Company (Tokio) in Nov 2022
Interview
The interview process consisted of multiple rounds of case interviews, which is typical for management consulting firms. After submitting my application online, I received an invitation for the first round within a few weeks. The first round involved a structured problem-solving exercise where I was asked to break down a business issue into its key components and present a comprehensive framework covering all relevant dimensions. The interviewer assessed my ability to think in a structured and mutually exclusive, collectively exhaustive manner. In the second round, I was given several charts and data exhibits to interpret, and I had to draw meaningful insights from the data to support a recommendation. The third component involved a quantitative exercise where I had to perform calculations under time pressure to arrive at a business estimate. Overall, the interviewers were professional and the process was well-organized.

After submitting my application in their portal. In about two days I recevied the link to do their Solve assessment, The assessment had three games. I was however not selected for the next rounds.
Recruiter Round - not that difficult: we dicusssed background, interview timeline, current visa stutus, and limited bahaviroal questions. And I was able to pass into the 1st round interview after this one.
Whole timeline: recruiter interview -> 1 month -> 1st round
The interview process was tricky - several technical and consulting questions were asked. Good preparation is needed to clear it on the basis of data analysis, problem solving and communication.
