The interview consisted first of a screening by a recruiter, followed by a 30 minute discussion with a hiring manager regarding past experiences. This revolved around the manager simply asking what things I've done to demonstrate specific skills. Next, they sent me a malicious document and an executable file. I was asked to analyze both and provide a technical report on each. This was a far more engaging process, and better than the typical question/answer technical interviews I've seen, since they wanted me to demonstrate the skills that would be used in the role. I'm told if I pass this step there will be another technical interview and a final interview with the threat intelligence lead.
