I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Macy's in Jul 2012
Interview
The application process is handled online. Then there were several separate interviews meeting with all levels of management (Store Manager, Assistant Manager, HR Manager, Sales Manager). I had to discuss my prior sales experience, management experience, and conflict resolution skills. The interviewers also wanted to know I had a "leader" mentality as opposed to blending in with a click.
