I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Macy's (Los Angeles, CA) in Mar 2009
Interview
I applied online they emailed a week later, then called me about scheduling an interview. I was out of the country so we schedules a phone interview. It was pretty brief they asked me why I wanted to work there, what some of my best talents and skills were, some strengths and weaknesses, if I work well with others and an example of when I have done so, and what is my best achievement/most proud of so far in life. They said they would call me back soon about it.

Question 1
what achievement are you most proud of in your life and why
I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Macy's (Indianapolis, IN) in Oct 2008
Interview
The interview process was great. However, even though I had previously applied online, when I was asked to come in to interview, I had to fill out a very similar and lenghty application on their network system. Afterwards, I was interviewed by one woman. She was friendly and polite and asked me all of the typical questions regarding my information, resume and interest in the position. She referred me to speak to the manager, who tested me on my knowledge of brands, fashion and clothing. She even thought I would be great in MACY's management one day.
